...in Florida:
In a special web message, former Governor, Jeb Bush, described a new
eHealth portal, FloridaHealthStat.com as your "one stop site for
all of your health care questions and information." It has
now been improved and is part of FloridaHealthFinder.gov.
Having given the site a once-over, we'd say that it is quite an
improvement and very useful. We recommend everyone have a look at
this site. You don't have to be a Floridian to find it of value.
The Florida
Prescription Drug Prices website was developed by the Florida
Attorney General's office and the Agency for Health Care Administration
(AHCA) to help consumers shop for the lowest price in their area for
their prescription drugs. It provides pricing information for the
50 most commonly used prescription drugs in Florida. The prices
are the "usual and customary prices," also known as retail
prices, reported monthly by pharmacies. This is the price that an
uninsured consumer, with no discount or supplemental plan, would
normally pay. Prices at your local pharmacy may change daily, so
this website is only meant to help you compare prices at different
pharmacies an are not a guaranteed price.
If you've attended any of our programs, you no doubt have heard
president and founder Carolyn Raville mention her WALK EASY
crutches. She is not given to promoting unless she knows the
product is excellent, helpful and reasonably priced. We recommend
a visit to WalkEasy.com
to have a look at their walking aids and accessories, crutch evaluator,
success anecdotes, and even a visitor survey.

important to good health, and if you'll notice the faces on the Polio
Outreach site; they are always smiling.
